I Couldn’t Drop the Superstitious Tendencies. Let’s Never Speak of it Again.

I am superstitious
and you are the number thirteen
if i let your three cradle me
id be stuck in fetal position
if i held onto your one
id be hugging a stick

ill just start counting
from twelve to fourteen
i need time in my therapy sessions
to examine and avoid
other looming misfortunes
that actually exist

  1. I read once that 13 started out as a good luck number. I can’t remember why it changed.
I have superstitions too, most of them related to Murphy, that bas*ard. I’m working on them.
I enjoy your profound thoughts ❤

    1. in korea writing someones name in red means you want them dead since death certificates were once written in red ink. Luckily I learned about it before ever writing a student’s name in that color

      1. Really? That’s interesting. I’m glad you learnt that too!! Yikes, I can be such a ditz, who knows the people I have offended unwittingly over the years. Maybe a general apology is needed lol.
