The end of an epic freak out

“I have enemies. They’re out there, they’re watching me.”

“Ok, so what you’re saying is the medication isn’t working?”

“NO! You never LISTEN! What I said was, I have ENEMIES

and they will beat me BLOODY INTO A PULP

if i take one step out of this apartment alone.”

“Ok. So, what does that mean?”

“There’s only one chance i can still make it.”

“Oh yeah, what is it?”

“If you say you still love me.”

“I still love you, of course.”

“Ok, good. Because, without

even that, the world is all filled

with such dangerous stuff.

You know, my mother, she

abandoned me. that’s when

the trouble started.”

“Yeah, I know it.”

“Will you stay with me?”

“I don’t know. Are you going

to thrash in your sleep?”

“Maybe.”

“Well, I’m glad you’re being

honest. Sure, I’ll get my stuff.”

“Good. Do you still love me?”

“Yes, of course.”

“How much?”

“Tuns.”

“Can I go with you

to get your stuff?”

“Do you want to?”

“No.”

“Well then, I guess not.”

“When will you be back?”

“Soon.”

“Do you still love me?”

“Very much.

Now take your pills-

no, really, I promise

I’ll be back before you fall asleep.”

“What will I dream of?”

“A million puppies, all at once.”

“What kind will they be?”

“Oh, some purple

some green, small, large.”

“Do you still love me?”

“Yes, of course.”
