What is the point, then, if I can’t?

First and foremost

All of my relatives are worried about

Me getting my retirement

No one has mentioned getting married

Or having a baby which is good

Since I can’t have any

But it brings me closer to death

All curled up in the bath

And I have a secret

My next goal is none of that

It’s to pluck a child out of the system

And become exhausted over it

It’s still the act of saving

I’d save a little soul from the foster system

And i am trying-im studying finances

Just to have an extra bedroom

To put it in.

But when cancer comes

My next goal is to live

Well, let’s be honest

Only sometimes, it still is
